What Funders have said about us
"Hello, Lydia. I just happened to be spending today at my computer doing foundation emails when your request came through. What a beautiful job with a request! I wish all of our applications were as well done!"
Susan Deupree Jones, President
Deupree Family Foundation
"Initially, the funder had shared with his board our intention to apply and said that the board showed a very favorable response, and that was before seeing our application, which he says, 'is one of the best applications he has ever read!"
Clare Murray, Executive Director
Community Center of Northern Westchester
What Others have said about us
Special thanks to Lydia Howie, GPLH Founding President, who has stepped down from Board service this year. In October of 2008, Lydia convened a meeting with a group of local grant writing professionals to discuss ways in which they could support each other and the grant writing profession. Out of that meeting, GPLH was born. Lydia’s contributions to our organization over the past 14 years are immeasurable. We are indebted to Lydia for her incredible dedication and service, and are grateful that, while not on the Board, she will continue to be an active member of GPLH going forward.
Grant Professional Of Lower Hudson Newsletter
"I find it's infrequent that a basic how to research/vetting grants webinar has enough detail in it to teach me something substantive. Most are too general, broad, and basic. But this webinar was outstanding. The presenter was generous with her knowledge and has such in-depth knowledge to teach seasoned grant professionals some tricks of the trade. Even with my experience, I learned something. I have recommended it to our local Indy chapter to let our members know about it so they can register for it."
